Professional Experience
Dr. Neema Budodi Lubuva is a consultant haematologist with extensive experience in clinical care, transfusion medicine, and research in haematological disorders. She has held key leadership roles, including Head of the Blood Transfusion and Cell Processing Unit at Muhimbili National Hospital, where she oversaw critical services in transfusion and stem cell therapy. She has also previously served at the Aga Khan Health Service in Tanzania and is currently the Visiting Consultant Haematologist at Saifee Hospital.
Beyond her clinical and academic contributions, Dr. Lubuva has been actively engaged in professional associations. She served as Assistant Treasurer of the Medical Women Association of Tanzania (MEWATA) from 2014 to 2016, contributing to the advancement of women in medicine and health leadership in Tanzania.
